  • Swimming Info

    Swimming classes are currently being organised for all classes. Swimming arrangements are being changed due to increasing enrollment.

  • Cleaning of School

    The extension and replacement of pipes/sewers are currently being completed. Unfortunately the school is in a bad state and needs a very thorough cleaning. We need help in order to be in a position to open on Wednesday 31st. A clean up is being organised for Monday, August 29th.

  • Green School

    The Green School Committee is working very hard to retain our two green flags our school has been selected for a new initiative called “Global Citiizenship”. Watch this space for more updates

    Swimming arrangements have been changed due to increasing enrolment. Swimming classes are taking place in Brookfield Leisure Complex, College Road, Cork.

  • New School Year

  • Rang 6 are busy planning the publication of our annual school magazine: Scéalta Scoil Mhaoilíosa.

  • We received wonderful news some weeks ago. Our film “NO THANKS” has been selected for the National FÍS Film Festival. Last year’s sixth class, and the current 5th and 6th classes will travel to Dublin on November 16th for the National Film Awards which will be held in the Helix.

  • Sciath na Scol Final

    Scoil Mhaoilíosa has entered Sciath na Scol, Corcaigh for the first time in a number of years. We are delighted with our success so far. Both boys’ and girls’ teams have qualified for the final which will be held on Tuesday November 8th in Páirc Uí Rinn.

  • Lifetime Lab

    5th and 6th classes visited the Lifetime lab in Cork on September 21st. The pupils learned about magnets, electricity and constructed their own cars
